VEGETABLE SALAD

4 c. cauliflower
4 c. broccoli
1 lg. purple onion

Mix together & cover with dressing. Refrigerate for 7 hrs. or overnight.

Dressing:
2 c. mayonnaise
¼ c. sugar
1/3 c. parmesan cheese
½ t. salt
½ t. basil leaves

Add & toss when ready to serve:
1 can sliced water chestnuts
1 head lettuce
1 lb. bacon, cooked crisp
