STRAWBERRY DESSERT


1 c. flour
½ c. butter, melted
¼ c. brown sugar
½ c. chopped nuts
Combine all above ingredients & pour ½ into a 8 x 8 inch dish or pan. Bake at 375 for 20 min. (Stir once or twice while baking.)
2 egg whites
1 c. sugar
2 c. sliced strawberries
2 T. lemon ju.
1 c. whipped cream or cool whip
Beat egg whites & sugar. Add strawberries & lemon ju. Fold in whipped cream. Pour on top of the ½ cooked crumb mixture. Top with other ½ of crumb mixture. Freeze
6 hrs.. *(If frozen berries are used & syrup too, only 2/3 c. sugar is needed.)
