ROLLS

2 T. yeast
½ c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
6 c. flour

2 t. salt
¾ sq. butter or margarine
1 ½ c. water

  1. Put yeast in bowl. Pour ½ c. warm water over yeast. Sprinkle with ½ t. sugar.
  2. Melt butter (don’t get it too hot).
  3. Put beaten eggs in & blend. Add warm water (not too hot or it will cook the eggs) & add salt.
  4. Add sugar & butter (make sure butter is not too hot), & yeast. Then add flour;

2 c. to start & 1 c. at a time. Mix well. Place dough in airtight container. Let raise l hr. Stir down. Put dough in refrigerator & let raise in fridge 2 hrs. Stir down. Keep refrigerated until ready to use.


Divide dough into 2 equal balls. Roll out into circle. Spread butter over it. Cut into 32 pieces (like a pizza) then roll them up. Place on a greased cookie sheet & cover. Let rise about 1 hr. Bake at 350 about 20 min. (till golden brown).
