ICEBOX DESSERT

1 (7 ¼ oz.) pkg. vanilla wafers, crushed
1 sq. butter or margarine
1 t. vanilla
2 c. powdered sugar
3 eggs
1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
1 box fresh, sliced strawberries
1 pt. whipping cream, whipped

Crush vanilla wafers; take half of the crushed wafers & line bottom of a 9 x 13 pan. Cream together butter, vanilla, & powdered sugar. Gradually add 3 eggs. Pour this mixture over crumbs. Add crushed pineapple on top of the mixture, then on top of pineapple; add strawberries. On top of strawberries, spread whipped cream. Sprinkle remaining wafer crumbs on top of whipped cream. Refrigerate 3-4 hrs. or overnight.
