ICE CREAM

4 eggs, beaten
2 scant c. sugar
1 qt. milk
½ c. evaporated milk
1 T. vanilla
1 qt. whipping cream (or half & half)

Beat eggs well. Add sugar gradually. Add flavoring & stir in milk & cream.

VARIATIONS

Raspberry-Banana
1-2 c. crushed raspberries, sweetened
2 lg. bananas, chopped fine
few drops red food coloring

Cherry Nut
2 c. chopped maraschino cherries
2 c. chopped nuts
½ t. almond flavoring & vanilla to taste
few drops red food coloring

Maple-Nut
1 c. chopped nuts
1 T. maple flavoring
1 t. vanilla

Lemon
2 t. lemon flavoring
vanilla to taste
few drops yellow food coloring

Freeze about ½ hr. It takes about 10 lbs. ice & some coarse salt.
