1 boxed chocolate cake mix
2 jelly roll pans (large heavy cookie sheets)
2 squares ice cream (2 half gallons-any flavor)
Waxed paper
Heavy-duty aluminum foil (wide)
Mix cake mix as directed on box. Line jelly roll pans with waxed paper which is cut longer than pan so it hangs slightly over edges of pan. Bake at 350 for 10 min. (do not over-bake).
Lift with waxed paper off of jelly roll pans. Let cool. Open ice cream box completely, cut ice cream into about 8 slices. Lay on cake. Roll up. (Keep ice cream close to front edge as it slides down as you roll). Wrap in tin foil & freeze. Don’t worry if it’s not perfect, it is very forgiving.
