1 ½ lb. ground beef                              
1 egg, beaten                                        
1 T. milk                                                           
¼ t. pepper                                                      
1 t. salt                                                 
1 T. oil
½ c. water
1 ½ c. milk
6 T. water
Remove meat to platter.  Increase heat to med-high & stir with heavy spoon, scrapping the bottom of pan.  Whisk in remaining flour until smooth.  Slowly pour in milk, whisking until gravy is thick & smooth.  Add more salt & pepper if needed.  Strain to remove any lumps.  Spoon over meat.
