MONACO POTATOES

5-6 medium potatoes –peeled & thinly sliced
½ c. finely grated Mild Cheddar Cheese (or Monterey Jack)
1 c. cream
salt – to taste
pepper – to taste
nutmeg – dash

Layer all ingredients in baking dish (twice). Bake uncovered at 325 for 1 hr. Cover & bake an additional 15 min.

Yield: 6 servings
