PINEAPPLE SHERBET DESSERT

1 pkg. Mothers coconut macaroon cookies, crushed
1 c. chopped pecans
Mix nuts & cookies. Put ½ mixture on bottom of 9 x 13 pan. (use other ½ for top).
½ gallon pineapple sherbet, softened
1 pint whipping cream, whipped

Blend together & put over nuts & crumb mixture. End with crumbs on top & dollop whipping cream & add cherries.
