PIE CRUST DOUGH (never fail)

2 ¾ c. flour
1 t. salt
1 c. shortening
1 egg
1 T. lemon ju. or vinegar
¼ c. cold water

Blend flour, salt & shortening well! In separate bowl, mix egg, lemon juice & water. Add flour mixture and knead to mix. Roll out. Bake single crusts at 425 for 9-15 min.


Yield: 2 double crusts
