MEXICAN WEDDING CAKES (COOKIES)

½ c. butter or margarine
½ c. shortening
1/3 c. powdered sugar
1 t. vanilla

2 c. flour
½ t. salt
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix all ingredients really well by hand. Roll into balls. Roll balls in powdered sugar. Place in un-greased cookie sheet close together. Bake at 400 for 10 min. (watch closely-they only need to be light brown on edges). Cool & roll in powdered sugar.
