Almond Roca

1 pound real butter
40 flat Hershey bars
1 pound brown sugar
1 pound almonds, ground

Cook butter and sugar together, stirring constantly to 300 degrees (hard crack on thermometer). Spread one-half nuts on bottom of well-greased cookie sheet. Cover with 20 Hershey bars. Pour hot mixture over chocolate bars and quickly spread mixture and immediately cover with another layer of Hershey bars and a layer of nuts. Press nuts into warm chocolate. IMPORTNT: Have Hershey bars unwrapped and nuts ground before you start this recipe.
