ITALIAN SHELLS

12 oz. pkg. shell pasta
¼ c. butter, melted
1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
4 mushrooms, sliced

3 c. spaghetti sauce
1 c. cottage cheese
½ c. sour cream
8 oz. cream cheese

Cook pasta in salted water for 2 min. less than shortest time recommended on pkg. Drain. Pour melted butter over pasta & mix. Brown hamburger with onion & mushrooms. Remove from heat & stir in spaghetti sauce. Combine cottage cheese, sour cream & cr. cheese. Mix till smooth. In greased baking pan, make the following layers:

½ the pasta
½ the sauce
all the cheese mixture
rest of pasta
rest of sauce.

Bake covered for 1 hr. at 350 degrees. Uncover & top with shredded mozzarella cheese. Bake 10 min. more.
